Oh my goodness. We jumped at the chance. Anthony asked me, now, how do you know her?? And I said, we were best friends in early elementary school (Madison Academy in Huntsville, AL), but had different friends in high school (Hazel Green High School). And five years ago she purchased some vacation rentals down in Redington Shores. I didn't know what to expect when I got there, but of course the Super Bowl was on, and there was a table full of good food and a grassy area full of Canadians and a few northerners thrown in also. And this isn't just anybody hanging out there, these are people who make reservations every year and they stay for an extended period of time, one, two, or three months. You could tell they all loved Kayla and it was a family atmosphere. I have never seen anything like this when we go on vacation at condos or hotels.
It was dark that night and couldn't get good pictures so I went back today and took a few more pictures to share with you.
Here are room pictures:
Some of the tile is original from the 50's, I loved it. There is a lot of blood, sweat, and tears that Kayla personally shed getting this place up to where it is today, a welcoming place that is warm and inviting. I love what it says on her website, Come as a guest, Leave as a friend. Here is her website link.

And if you look at the reviews, they mention Kayla over and over again. Her place, and she, are truly a gem.
It was wonderful catching up with her. And she said she doesn't know why it shows "former owner" on her FB page, but I am glad it was wrong.
How fun to catch up with a friend like this!
