A day around Clearwater

Hello, today I got a sunburn. It's awesome. I got it from riding bikes on the Pinellas Trail. We started at Dunedin  and rode to Clearwater, which was just a few miles, and then back through Dunedin, so only about 15 miles today.

Since we were parked in Dunedin, we decided to eat at one of the local establishments and found our way to Flanagan's. We got there about 1:55 and sat down. Everything nice and quiet, ordered our food and just relaxing when all of a sudden these three people walk in with instruments, two guitars and an accordion, and set up on the stage, and then we notice a paper on our table with a calendar on it, and wouldn't you know it? We got there just in time for the 2:00 concert, yay!! (Insert sarcasm here).

So all of a sudden we couldn't converse with each other because of the Irish tunes being blasted over the speakers in an extremely small eating establishment/pub. And there were also the really nice shrill feedback from the sound system, which was truly lovely. But after our ears went numb we did enjoy all the locals that started gathering inside to enjoy the tunes and they were even singing along with the band and knowing when to clap at the exact right moments during certain songs. Some of the music sounded familiar to us, but we certainly didn't know the words, not like the people sitting right in front of us.

Anthony wanted to get a pork sandwich, and I said that he needed to get something Irish, so he got shepherds pie. The only GF thing that was on the menu was a curry chicken dish, so that's what I got.

Anyway, afterwards we decided to head to the YMCA to take a shower and so Anthony could row on the rowing machine, which, BTW, he already knew was a Concept 2 rower. Did you know that you can look online and find workout establishments where you can workout on a concept 2 rower?? Well, now you do. And he was so happy. And the showers were hot, so I was happy too.

And when I pulled up my FB account and checked out what was going on in the FB world, I got really excited when I saw a message by an old friend, and I am saving my next blog to focus on what happened next. It is the coolest thing what she is doing. Living out a bold dream that sent her to the Florida coast.
